Beyonce Giselle Knowles was conceived in Houston, Texas on September 4 in 1981. Her mom, Tina Knowles-Lawson is the designer of their glittering costumes, and her dad Mathew Knowles, manages Destiny's Child. Solange her sister (4 years separated by four years) has released her debut album. She performs with her sister at DC-3 concerts. Beyonce is of Louisiana Creole & African descent. Beyonce is also 1/32 Irish and her maternal line is a distant Breton-, Spanish-, Indonesian-, and Chinese roots. According to some, she invented a stage name called "Sasha" to conquer her shyness.
