Britney Jean Spears

Britney Jean Spears was born December 2, 1981 in McComb, Mississippi & raised in Kentwood, Louisiana. As a youngster, Britney attended dance classes, and she was great in gymnastics. She won numerous competitions and the like. Britney loves to sing however, most importantly, she enjoyed dance classes. When she was just eight, Britney was a contestant in The All New Mickey Mouse Club (1989) but was denied due to her young age. This directed her to an off Broadway show, "Ruthless", for an entire two-year run as the lead character. She tried again in The All New Mickey Mouse Club (1989) in this time as a mouseketeer. In the latter part of the 90s, Britney was signed by Jive Recording Artist. The debut album of Britney Spears, "...Baby, was released in 1999. Britney also sold 9 million copies (as at July 2001) of her follow-up album "Oops !...I Do It Again" released in May 2000. Britney was born to Lynne Spears & Jamie Spears and has a big brother, Bryan Spears & a little sister, Jamie Lynn Spears. Britney was a daughter of Madonna, Mariah Carey, and Whitney Houston, was always determined to be a star. After taking extensive vocal and dance lessons, as well as appearing in various talent shows and fairs, Britney auditioned for The All New Mickey Mouse Club (1989) television series [1989-1994] when she age 8 but was too young for the part. Britney and her infant sister, Britney, moved to New York, where she appeared in many TV commercials and an off Broadway play called "Ruthless" which was directed by the guidance of Natalie Portman. Her passion for music and dance took over and, two years later, she auditioned for part in "Mickey Mouse" again, and this time, she was awarded the part with Christina Aguilera and Justin Timberlake.
