Evan Rachel Wood

Evan Rachel Wood was conceived in Raleigh, North Carolina on September 7 1987. Her father, Ira David Wood III (a theatre actor, writer, director) is her father. Sara Wood Wood is her mother, as well as an actress. Her older brothers are Dana Wood, a musician and Ira David Wood IV who have also been actors. Evan and her brothers performed in the Theatre In The Park, Raleigh, where her father is the executive director. At the age of five she auditioned against Kirsten Dunst to play the lead part in Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles (1994) following a lengthy audition process. In 1996, she moved to Los Angeles along with her brother Ira and mother. She has been a prominent character in TV series, feature films, and TV movies since.
