Tramar Lacel Daillard
Tramar Lacel Daillard also referred to
as Flo Rida, is an American rapper and singer. He is from Carol City in
Florida. His 2008 breakout single "Low" was a top-ranked single for
ten weeks in the United States and broke the record for the sales of digital
downloads at the time the release. Flo Rida’s debut studio album 2008's Mail on
Sunday reached no. 4 in the US. R.O.O.T.S. followed the album in the US. The
following albums, 2010's Only One Flo (Part 1), as well as 2012's Wild Ones
also charted on US Billboard 200. Flo Rida is one of the most well-known
artists in the music industry with more than 80 million records across the
globe. His catalogue includes hit singles "Right Round", "Club
Can't Handle Me", "Good Feeling", "Wild Ones",
"Whistle", "I Cry", "G.D.F.R. ", as well as
"My Home". Mail on Sunday, Flo Rida's debut album came out in March
2008. The first single was "Low", featuring T-Pain. It was included
in the soundtrack for the movie Step Up 2: The Streets. "Low" was
ranked as No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. "Elevator", featuring
Timbaland, "In the Ayer" featuring will.i.am and "Roll"
with Sean Kingston followed, and both charted on the Hot 100 and other charts.
Mail featured many guests on Sunday including T-Pain. Timbaland is the producer
on the single "Elevator", is also featured on the track. Rick Ross
and Trey Songz have also appeared. Lil Wayne was featured on "American
Superstar", while Sean Kingston was on "Roll" which was a J. R.
Rotem-produced track written by Compton rapper Spitfiya. Other guests included
Birdman, Brisco, and Yung Joc. "Money Right", featuring Brisco as
well as Rick Ross, was scheduled to be the fourth single, but this was canceled
due to the upcoming release of Flo Rida's second studio album, R.O.O.T.S. T-Pain's
upcoming second collaboration "I Bet" as well as his duet with Trina
("Bout It") however, didn't make it to the final track list. However
the two tracks were recorded.
