Miley Ray Cyrus was born Destiny Hope Cyrus on November 23rd in 1992. She is an American performer, songwriter, and actress. Her unique voice is well-known for her influences in music which include country, pop hip hop, experimental rock, and much more. With 13 tracks, Cyrus holds the record for the most US Billboard 200 top five albums of the 21st-century by women artists. Cyrus's personal life, public images and performances have often sparked controversy and have received extensive media attention. Cyrus was born to Billy Ray Cyrus and became a popular teen star when she played the title character on the Disney Channel television show Hannah Montana (2006)-2011. As Hannah Montana, she attained three top-five and two top-five songs in the US Billboard 200, including the US Billboard Hot 100 top-ten single "He Could Be the One". Cyrus's discography includes the US top albums Meet Miley Cyrus (2007), Breakout (2008), and Bangerz (2013) The top five releases include Can't Get Tamed (2010) and Younger Now (2017), Plastic Hearts (2020) and the album for free Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz (2015). The EPs The Time of Our Lives (2009) and She is Coming (2019) Also made it into the top five. Plastic Hearts became Cyrus's most popular album and also her debut onto the Billboard Rock Chart, debuting atop the chart. It was the album that featured the lead track, "Midnight Sky". Other singles she has released include "See You Again", the US number-one "7 Things" and "Party in America." "Party in America" is her other top ten charting single. "Party in America" also features "Can't Be Tame", We Can't Stop", Malibu, and "Without You". "Party in the U.S.A." was certified Diamond by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Cyrus's achievements in her career include inclusions in the Time 100 list in 2008 and 2014, the MTV Best Artist of 2013 Award and inclusion on the Billboard's Greatest of All Time Artists Chart in 2019. She is often regarded as one of the few examples of successful child actors-turned-singers. Cyrus as an actress has appeared in Bolt (2008) as along with the feature films Hannah Montana: The Movie (2009 and 2010). Cyrus was a coach on The Voice, a singing competition, for two seasons. Also, she starred as Ashley Too in "Rachel, Jack, and Ashley Too" on Netflix's Black Mirror (2019). Cyrus is an ardent advocate for animal rights. She began a vegan diet in the year 2014. In 2014, she founded the Happy Hippie Foundation which focuses on the homeless youth as well as the LGBT community.
